What Pathfinder Services of ND's Parent Support Providers can do for you

Parents are a child's first teacher. They are experts on their child. Pathfinder Services of ND's Parent Support Providers support families in this important and lifelong role.

A Program for Parents

Parents have many questions and concerns in coping with their child's needs and their own feelings. Personal support from another parent, who has a child with similar needs, can be helpful in coping with these challenging experiences and feelings. Parent Support Providers are available to provide support and information.

We Help Parents:

  • Understand their child's disability
  • Understand their rights
  • Build positive relationships
  • Understand Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) components
  • Find statewide information on available support and resources
