GivingTuesday 2022

GivingTuesday harnesses the generosity of millions of people around the world to support the causes they believe in and the communities in which they live.

DONATE NOW

GivingTuesday is held annually the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, this year on November 29, 2022. The global celebration runs for 24 hours and begins at midnight local time.

Pathfinder Services of ND is a participating organization in the GivingTuesday movement.

Here are five great reasons to participate:

1. Giving provides personal satisfaction.

There's proof that giving makes you happier - studies have found that those who gave gifts to others or donated to charity were happier than those who spent their money on items like bills or even gifts for themselves.

2. It's tax deductible.

Ask us for a receipt and you can write off the donation when you fill out next year's tax return.

3. You can make a real difference.

Families and children are needing emotional support through the special education process on a daily basis. Your donation will help bring much needed supports directly to them to help guide them along their path to success.

4. A little bit goes a long way.

Sure, $20 could buy you those fuzzy socks or silk pajama pants you've been eyeing. But to a nonprofit like Pathfinder Service of ND $20 is 20 calls for families who don't understand where to go for help or what their rights truly are.

5. There are many who desperately need your help.

While we spend the holiday season stressed about which gifts to buy our loved ones, there are many families worrying about how to provide the needed supports for their child with special needs, let alone presents. No matter how you decide to donate for #GivingTuesday, your donation will make the world a little bit better for someone who is struggling.

Giving Tuesday might seem like just another social media trend, but it's making a positive impact. After a long weekend of trying to snag the best deals, shopping nonstop, and cutting in line for doorbusters, it's certainly refreshing to have a day set aside for what truly matters this season: helping those who need it most.
